Ja, schon ein sattes Jahr her, dass uns mehr oder weniger gesagt wurde, dass Viva Berlin! im Web als Episoden gezeigt werden sollen.
Auch beim Q&A (zumindest in Stuttgart) wurde zwar nicht definitiv, aber doch eher ausgeschlossen, dass noch weitere Episoden produziert werden, um damit einen quasi 90Minueter auf DVD veroeffentlichen zu koennen.
Und wie dem nun so ist, kommt es immer anders als man denkt… heute gelangweilt mal wieder auf FB vorbeigeschaut und folgendes gefunden:

All of you have given us the energy to move on and keep on trying during the last year.First of all: Viva Berlin! won´t be released as a Webseries. We know
we always wanted this to be released on the web, but things are really hard. Yet, there is no money to be earned in the web, but we would need this to produce more stuff. And there is the violence problem which just makes this hard to release it in the web.
So these are the reasons we couldn´t show you any episode yet online… because for international distributors this would have spoiled the possibility of finally selling it and having made it unpossible to produce more.Now Moritz, the director, Benjamin, the writer and I, the producer have decided to produce another 50 min of „Viva Berlin!“ to have the whole story told. Combined with the 40 Min we already have produced this will hit the 90 min length border and we can finally distribute Viva Berlin! as a feature film!
So for more then 8 months we have been on the look out for potential buyers, investors and distributors to finance the 50 more minutes. As you can imagine this wasn´t easy. Sometimes it looked good, sometimes it was bad… so you might understand all the ups and downs on facebook.
Right now… everything looks good and there is a small possibility that we might be back on set early 2013. Keepings fingers crossed.
We hope this answers some of your questions. We are curious about the idea of this becoming a feature film now and are working on the script right now. All we can tell you for sure is: this will remain as bad ass, crazy, sick and dark as the first minutes are. We will bring this to an end and if not… the zombie apocalypse will!

Stellt sich die Frage, ob 2013 dann das Interesse daran zumindest vom FFF-Publikum nicht vergangen ist.
Ich kann die Intentionen verstehen, keine Frage. Aber schade finde ich es schon, dass nun genau das eintritt, was beim Q&A eigentlich fast ausgeschlossen wurde.
Naja, dann halt mal die neuen Episoden abwarten
